Den of Thieves (Battle #3: Brigands' Den)
This battle is tremendously easy. Now that I have access to actual bows, my archers no longer have to worry as much about positioning --- simply get as high ground as possible and close in, and strike. No longer do I have to worry about accidentally hitting the wrong target (such as another character) and the bows actually do decent damage, as well!
Milleuda is downed easily, excepting that she had a White Mage ally with Hi-Potions, which managed to bring her from critical back up 70 HP twice, which was frustrating. However, the constant barrage of Charge +1 and Charge +2 kind of up a damper in her day.

Goodbye, Milleuda (Battle #4: Lenalian Plateau)
Again, this battle is super easy. Archers advance, Milleuda falls. A Time Mage managed to get off a haste on one of the Black Mages, but it didn't matter in the end. One archer downed by magic isn't enough to stop the arrow onslaught.

Wiegraf, Take 1 (Battle #5: Fovoham Windflats)
I love these assination battles. Delita is an idiot, of course, and runs foreward and throws a rock at the chocobo, and then proceeds to die through a combination of swordskill, pecking, and wave fisting.
I take out the chocobo as I advance up the hill, and then a few charge skills brings Wiegraf down to critical HP with ease; battle over.

FFT:WotL SCC: Archers

Preamble:
My characters after Mandalia:
Archer (Ramza) 72 Brave, 70 Faith
Cupid - 69 Brave, 40 Faith
Orion - 69 Brave, 40 Faith
William - 70 Brave, 41 Faith
Artemis (female) - 69 Brave, 41 Faith

At least one female character for appearance's sake, plus the possibility for female-only equips later in the game.

Before Dorter, each had learned Concentrate as well as Charge +1, which together is easily enough to take on mostly any monsters. A couple had learned Jump +1 as well, which can be quite handy.

With Battle Boots in hand (on feet?) I proceed through the Siedge Weald with relative ease, and onward to the Merchant City of Dorter!

Accursed Humans! (Battle #1: Merchant City of Dorter)
The random battles so far have been easy with my team of archers, but it's difficult to face human enemies.
Guest characters are a bit stupid here, and refuse to heal my dying Archer with Item, so this one is a narrow win before crystallization.
Success!

The Sand Rat's Sietch (Battle #2: Zeklaus Desert)
This one is a touch difficult. Higher-leveled Artemis stays out of the fight, and my two pairs of crossbowmen meet up together to take on the main enemy force while Delita squares off against the enemy monk.
Crossbows are weak. I'm doing 18 damage with charge attacks, whereas they're easily hitting for 24 or 30. Having a shield helps, though; it saved at least one of my archers from certain death so far.
Argath actually used a potion on Archer, too! Though he didn't actually need that extra health through the rest of the stage.
The enemy archer in this level is annoying, too, since he has a bow that allows him to shoot past obstacles, allowing him to take out one of my characters. It turns into a game of "Can you catch that runaway monk before your timer runs out?" and I succeed.
